What Is Project Breakless?
Good geology relies on high-quality core, but getting the core out of the core tube can be a destructive process. Enter Project Breakless.
Long overdue for a redesign, the current state-of-the art is a lifter case which unscrews from the core tube - destroying the core in the process. Project Breakless is designed to be removed without unscrewing...meaning more intact core and better structural geology. In addition to better samples, decoupling the lifter case retention from the rock means less force is needed to remove it, reducing helper injuries.
