Link to my GitHub repository for a python-based oriented core calculator. This is a command-line tool which will desurvey oriented core measurements (alpha/beta/gamma). It can be run as a script, as a one-of calculator in a terminal or can batch process CSV files.
Clone from GitHubFor those who prefer a spreadsheet-based approach (or can't install python because IT...) here is an Excel template for calculating oriented core measurements. Alpha/beta/gamma and hole survey parameters can be entered directly into the spreadsheet, and the tool will calculate the true dip/dip directions. Both a macro-enabled version and a standard version are available. The macro-enabled version provides additional functionality for quality of life.
