Overview
StrucTool is a geological field data collection application for Android. This Privacy Policy describes how the app handles information collected during use. G Industries LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. StrucTool does not collect, transmit, or retain any personal data on external servers. All data you create within the app remains exclusively on your device.
Data Collected and How It Is Used
StrucTool collects the following data solely to provide its core functionality. All data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to G Industries LLC or any third party.

No data is processed, analyzed, or stored by G Industries LLC at any time.
Data Not Collected
G Industries LLC does not collect any of the following:
- Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number, account credentials)
- Device identifiers (advertising ID, IMEI, serial number)
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Crash reports or diagnostic logs sent to external servers
- Payment or financial information
- Contacts, calendar, or social media data
Data Storage and Security
All app data is stored exclusively in the local SQLite database and app-private file storage on your Android device. No data is uploaded to, cached on, or stored by external servers, cloud services, or G Industries LLC's infrastructure at any point.
On Android 10 and later, the database and app storage are protected by Android's built-in encryption when device encryption is enabled.
Third-Party Services
StrucTool uses Google Play Services solely to provide device location (GPS) data through the Android Fused Location Provider API. This service is provided by Google LLC and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. G Industries LLC does not receive, store, or process any location data from Google — location is read directly on the device and stored only in the local database.
No other third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers are integrated into StrucTool.

Permissions are requested at runtime and are only used for the purposes listed above. You may revoke permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.
Your Rights and Controls
You have full control over your data within the app:
- View data: All measurements are viewable in the data table and stereonet screens.
- Delete data: Individual measurements or entire datasets can be deleted from within the app. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
- Export data: Measurements can be exported as CSV files and photos as a ZIP archive, which you may share or store as you choose.
- Uninstall: Uninstalling StrucTool removes all associated app data from your device.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
G Industries LLC does not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third parties. No data is transmitted to external servers. Because no data is collected or held by G Industries LLC, there is no data to disclose, transfer, or delete on our end.
Children's Privacy
StrucTool does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13, nor is it directed at children. No personal information is collected from any user, regardless of age.
Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
